Hey all,
I just learned that we have a great system at college called e-companion. It is a website programmed specifically for our class. I can put homework there, links, images, announcements etc. And we can chat, e-mail and have discussion threads. I will explain the whole thing next Monday, but just wanted to let you all know that we will be using that platform rather than this blog.
You will also be able to see your grades and comments on there. Have a look at it at www.myeclassonline.com

HOMEWORK FOR NEXT MONDAY (04/12)
You should have the Assignment #1 on a sheet of paper, I gave you in class today.
Here a reminder:
(Please make sure you upload the files to the server before next Monday.)
You will turn in 2 composite images with at least 4 objects cleanly selected, scaled and transformed to fit realistically into the background image’s selected. All Images for the assignment are in the Assignment #1 Folder Final images must contain Use a variety of tools Make clean selections Transform objects to scale and place realistically using blending mode and shadows to recreate the lighting in the background image min 3 Layers labeled in each composite min 2 images add to each background composite No Filters No other imagery
How to Turn in Work: Your last name today’s date
For example here is my folder for the first day of class:
Lancaster_04_05_10
Then create a subfolder inside your folder for the Assignment:
Lancaster_04_05_10_Ass1 DO NOT PLACE SOURCE IMAGES IN THE FOLDER. I WILL TAKE OFF POINTS IF YOU TURN IN THOSE IMAGES. (These are large files that will take up too much room and I do not need them.) Place only your work into folders you place on the server, always.
Please double check the folder before and after you turn in your work. There are many people in this class & I can’t open every folder during class to check that you have saved everything correctly. When I begin to grade the work, if you have not saved the information right, it is too late to resubmit your work.
